We believe great whisky is there to be enjoyed by all, without exception. We pride ourselves on making Whisky and Alement a place where everyone can come and learn more about the smooth taste and texture of fine whisky, and, of course, sample its delights for themselves.

A recent article by Connect Hearing champions this concept of creating safe, enjoyable and welcoming spaces for all. The article features a list of some of the best restaurants, cafes, pubs, and – it goes without saying – whisky bars for the hard of hearing. We were thrilled to be included.

The article, ‘Enjoy Socialising in the Quiet Corners of the Big City’, gave a special mention to our Melbourne Whisky Room, specialising in specially imported, rare and old whiskies. The room opened in February 2017 and offers a quieter more relaxed feel, with a vinyl player playing tunes in the background and table service on offer.

We look forward to welcoming every guest at Whisky and Alement. If your group has special requirements, please give us a bell so we can discuss how to best accommodate your needs.
